𝘉𝘺 𝘒𝘺𝘭𝘦 𝘋𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯 𝘚𝘢𝘮𝘴𝘰𝘯
The RCC Spotlight hosted its third Interschool Debate, dubbed the 6th Project Disputatio, on February 23 at the RCC Seminar Room.
St. Scholastica’s Academy emerged as the champion after prevailing through tightly contested exchanges anchored on research rebuttals, followed by the Chevalier School Inc., which placed second, and Holy Angel University, which finished third.
Jashree Carmela Malang and Angerina De Torrontegui of St. Scholastica’s Academy were named the best researcher and female debater, respectively, while the best male debater award was conferred on Rafael Gloria of Holy Angel University.
The event featured participating debaters from Systems Plus College Foundation, Chevalier School, Holy Angel University, and St. Scholastica’s Academy, and was evaluated by a distinguished board of judges composed of Mr. Ronald Campo, Atty. Jeselle Ann Dayrit, and Dr. Ednar Corpuz.
The Interschool Debate formed part of the institution’s cultural and academic festival, featuring a series of activities and culminating events in celebration of Republic Central Colleges’ 80th founding anniversary.
