In an electrifying showdown at the one-week celebration of the 80th Founding Anniversary and Intramurals Week, the Secondary Education Department (BSED Falcons) emerged as the clear leader with a remarkable overall points total of 1,035, clinching the coveted 1st place title. Their consistent excellence across a variety of eventsโ€”Buwan ng Wika, Art Competitions, and Swimming Women Overallโ€”proved decisive in this fierce competition.

Quite close on their heels was the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE Gideons), which secured 2nd place with an impressive 825 points, demonstrating strength particularly in the Swimming Men category with a standout 140 points and the Indoor Overall events with 130 points.

The Bachelor of Science in Hospitality and Tourism Management (BSHTM Warriors) showed strong competitive spirit, finishing 3rd with 720 points. They dominated the Ball Games category, racking up 140 points, and delivered an outstanding 110 points in the Pageant Overall, showcasing both athletic and artistic prowess.

The top five were rounded out by Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and Management Accounting (BSA/MA Wizards), securing 4th place with 690 points, and Bachelor of Elementary Education (BEED Phoenix) in 5th with 580 points.
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA Centaurs) and Bachelor of Arts in English Language (ABEL Panthers) placed 6th and 7th respectively, with totals of 555 and 450 points.

Finally, the Bachelor of Science in Information Technology (BSIT Griffins) took 8th place with 390 points, showing promise in Ball Games with 130 points but facing challenges in other categories.

This yearโ€™s foundation and intramurals, and monthly events, highlighted a blend of talent, teamwork, and competitive spirit, with departments showing unique strengths in different eventsโ€”from swimming and indoor competitions to ball games and pageantry. Secondary Educationโ€™s well-rounded performance was the key to their top ranking, making this season one to remember.

Peralta shoots bullโ€™s eye, clinches National PRISAA โ€˜26

Olongapo City, Zambalesโ€” Genina Angel Peralta, the schoolโ€™s representative for archery, won golds in the Private Schoolsโ€™ Athletic Association (PRISAA) Games held at The Manila Times College of Subic from March 3-4, 2026.

Peralta swept all the golds in the 30, 50, and 60 meters categories and she won silver for the 70 meters in the archery for women.
ย 
Peralta was also hailed as the overall gold medalist for the said event.
Serving as Peraltaโ€™s coach and sighter in the said competition is Mr. Noel Panlilio Jr.
ย 
With this feat, Peralta will be representing Region 3 once again for the upcoming National PRISAA games to be held in Bacolod later this year.

Faculty members of the RCC High School Department were recognized for exemplary performance during the institutionโ€™s 80th Founding Anniversary Testimonial, held on February 28, 2026, at Plaza Victoria.

Dr. Shirly Lazatin, Principal of the High School Department; Mr. Renz A. Camaya, Senior High School Coordinator, and Ms. Sweetzel Serrano, Science Coordinator, were recognized as top-ranked faculty members in the Faculty Performance Appraisal System (FPAS) at the College and Basic Education Level.

Mrs. Janet Cordero was awarded 2nd place in the FPAS at the same level, followed by Ms. Sharmaine Marcelo in 3rd place and Mr. Kenneth John Santos in 4th place, while Ms. Rhea Pillera, Ms. Joynalyn Reyes, and Ms. Anna Dominique Torres placed 5th.

The FPAS evaluates faculty members based on established academic and professional performance indicators set by the school administration. The awarding ceremony was presided over by the institutionโ€™s President, Dr. Victoria L. Angeles; Executive Vice President, Atty. Agustin L. Angeles, and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Gloria Abrazado.
